Toolkit Tuesday – Progressive Muscle Relaxation 04/29/25
In this Toolkit Tuesday session, Dr. Stacy introduces a brief and accessible version of progressive muscle relaxation, focused on the shoulders and upper back. She guides listeners through two tension-and-release exercises—lifting the shoulders to the ears and pulling the shoulder blades back—to help them recognize the contrast between muscle tension and relaxation. The practice enhances body awareness and the ability to intentionally relax, even during daily stress. She encourages using this tool throughout the day—before work, during breaks, or after commuting—and invites participants to track their habit and share experiences in the community for collective support and growth.
