Toolkit Tuesday -Breathwalk 05/13/25
In this Toolkit Tuesday session, Dr. Stacy introduces a grounding mindfulness practice called the Breath Walk, which combines walking with silent chanting and finger mudras. As participants walk—preferably barefoot and outdoors—they mentally repeat the mantra Sa Ta Na Ma, symbolizing the cycle of life (infinity, birth, death, rebirth), while pressing corresponding fingers (index, middle, ring, pinky) in rhythm. The breath is controlled by inhaling and exhaling to four counts, synced with each step and finger press. With eyes fixed on the horizon, this meditative exercise helps clear the mind, enhance focus, and promote a sense of calm and energy. Dr. Stacy encourages viewers to try it out, enjoy the movement and mindfulness, and share their experience with the community.
