Kundalini Yoga February 16/25
This Kundalini Yoga session, titled “Kriya for Magnetic Field and Heart Center,” focuses on strengthening the heart’s electromagnetic field, which extends about three feet in all directions and is more powerful than the brain’s field. The session includes a mix of effort and rest, starting with a tuning-in practice using deep breathing and the Adi Mantra to align the body and mind. A key meditation, Kirtan Kriya, involves chanting Sa Ta Na Ma while visualizing light and using hand mudras to symbolize the cycle of life. The kriya continues with dynamic movements like Sufi grinds, Breath of Fire, and stretching exercises, designed to enhance energy flow, open the heart center, and stimulate the nervous system. Participants engage in postures such as a life nerve stretch, back platform, shoulder stand, and root lock exercises, concluding with a guided relaxation (Shavasana) and a heart-centered meditation chanting “God and me, me and God are one.” The practice ends with a blessing song and an encouragement to embody love in daily life. Additionally, participants are invited to join the “What Would Love Do?” challenge, emphasizing heart-led decision-making.
